Compassionate Doula Care for Your Journey into Parenthood

About Me

I'm Nicole, birth & postpartum doula and mama of one. My love for birth work began during my first year of college while I was pursuing nursing. My initial goal was to become a Registered Nurse and I had hoped to work in labor and delivery. As my studies continued I began to see the disparities in our healthcare system and immediately shifted my focus to a role where I knew I would actually be able to help families have the births and outcomes they deserve. That's when I found my calling to do Doula work, and I never looked back. Throughout my own conception and pregnancy journey, I researched more than ever before. My research and passion for reproductive health, birth, and postpartum only continues and grows.

Having a beautiful birth center birth in 2023 at the Mind Body Birth: Wellness and Birthing Center with our midwife, Faith Freeman and Student Midwife, Mychal Shifrah in spite of all my circumstances has opened my eyes to the ways in which our providers SHOULD be showing up for us. My midwives also introduced me to DTI where I am currently studying as a full-spectrum doula with plans to pursue lactation in the future.
